The app is not able to calculate the distance. My Mac keep locking and unlocking continuously, too annoying. Not worth the money for sure.

The app does exactly what it says.. Moving away from your mac it makes it lock.. And coming near it unlock.. Nice design too.. After installing the update i had to unlink and pair again mac and iphone 6 plus.. It works!!!

The application frequently locks my computer when I am working on it, within 1-2 feet. Deleting.

They say they made the distance accuracy work well it DOES NOT. It thinks Im less then 1 meter from the computer when Im 10+ meters from it. Update tried this app again and it still had distance accuracy issues.

Distance measurement wasnt accurate, and pushing unlock on my watch only actually worked some of time. It would also often get disconnected and wouldnt reconnect without me relaunching the app

This is the only Bluetooth Mac authentication (login / logout, lock / unlock) app that works 100% of the time, for me. Computers that I have successfully paired using Near Lock never fail to lock when I exit the radius I have specified. Using this app improves my computer security and privacy behaviors, and daily productivity. The developer is also very responsive. I submitted a login bug and they responded within hours. They had already discovered the bug and had a solution in the works. They even gave me the opportunity to beta test their new version. The new version is amazing! It takes an app that works well and makes it even better. Its faster with more advance features. Please buy this app. This developer is doing Bluetooth user authentication the right way. Support their work.

Love this app! For those of us that prefer long passwords for security its great to be able to have the convenience of way unlocking from iPhone and Apple Watch for our own use, but long passwords for everyone else to keep it the riffraff. A+!

It works very well

Being able to have my Mac lock when I walk away from it on my desk or customer site automatically, and then unlock as soon as I hit the trackpad or a key is an amazing quality of life improvement. While it does not work 100% of the time (seems to have trouble reconnecting automatically when the phone or Mac reboots) this is a reasonably rare occurrence. If you are tired of typing your password dozens of times a day this app will change your life.

Fun but doesnt work well in the distance definitely more than 1m. And even though i lock manually with this app, my mac is unlocked automatically in 5 seconds.

Near Lock has worked well for me, but occasionally it doesnt see that my iPhone is close enough to keep my Max unlocked. Well see how it goes...

Great app once you get the PRO Version. The free version is frustrating...

I thought this would one of those apps that sorta worked, but no. its not. Im so surprised that this works so smoothly! Im glad I got this app!!

Best app for locking and unlocking my MAC

This application works wonderful. I have had no issues for it and it works like it supposed to. I am switching from Knock due to the fact that Apple is pushing out software updates faster than they are, so Knocks software is breaking and becoming un-usable.

I commend the developers for not only a great implementation, but a great design. This app serves its intent beautifully.

So far so good. Was super easy to connect and works like a charm. I love the feature for long press. Sometimes Ill leave my computer and wont want to wake the fraction of a second it takes to lock lol

I want this app to work. Its just what Ive been looking for. When the app works, it is great but Im on day one and the app between computer and phone keeps disconnecting and I have to unpair and start over to get it to work.

Works as advertised! Walk away with your phone and Mac goes to sleep. Come back with your phone and Mac wakes up. No button pushing necessary. The watch support is nice as well. It wont automatically lock/unlock your Mac like the phone, but the watch app lets you remotely lock/unlock which may be useful if youre away from your desk and feeling paranoid.

The app is designed very good but coming to Mac side of it I see a small white window on the lock screen which is really annoying please fix that .Otherwise its a hell of app.
