The way that you can block and unlock your mac is amazing!!! This app is all you need if you don’t want to type the pass evey time.. Recommended 100% don’t Miss it out!!

The app works fine most of the time. It occasionally loses track of the Mac state and in one case I had it repeatedly locking then unlocking my machine. After using it for a bit, I noticed that my phone need to be charged much more more often than normal. Checking battery setting confirmed that it was Near Lock that was draining my battery. I have since removed it from my phone and my Mac.

With the update they did in the last version it doesnt ever disconnect (there were some issues before this version with the device disconnecting). Yes you have to wait 3-4 seconds until the BT radio gets up and running when waking the laptop from sleep, after 5 seconds it unlocks. Every time. If your mac is not sleeping it will unlock before you reach it. I dont know why people are complaining. This is the best app out there. It works every time. Also the knock to enter admin password feature rocks. Good job guys!

I think that this app is fantastic! I am currently having an issue with the connection, but the Near Lock support team got back to me extremely fast and is helping me through the issue.

Ive been using this for a while now, and its helpful for those times when I leave my desk and would otherwise forget to lock my computer. The connection is not 100% reliable, more like 90%, but its well-worth the investment. No Apple Watch, so I expect to be using this for a while.

Crashing as soon as I launch the app... Disappointing.

The app works just as advertised and it offers a fair amount of settings such as Touch ID unlock, custom distance & notification actions. Its really convenient and works 100% of the time, everytime. The desktop app is not intrusive and have a bunch of settings too.

Works well and is useful. I love the discreet sound when your Mac is locked unlocked.

Locks randomly; really annoying and disappointing. I want my $ back.

The app works horribly... Theres no real background running mode. You must leave it open, clicking only in home button. When you do it, it only works for some minutes. The widget needs the app running in this fake background mode. If not it doesnt work. I just dont give only one star because the app seems to work sometimes and the idea is great. I still dont recommend before its updated.

The unlock feature doesnt work properly. For using it, you have to pay 3.99.
